It is now November. I hope everyone had a great fall riding season. Fall is my favorite time to ride.
unfortunately, with the "football" schedule in our house now, I did not ride like I usually do. There's nothing like
hearing the horses hooves crunch the fall leaves....and that smell in the air.
I need to wish everyone a great holiday season. The holidays are a time for family and of course your horse
is part of your family.
Please begin to think about your next years goals. We, as a group, will need to work towards fund raisers.
If you have ideas let me know. Our first official meeting will be in January. We got our feet wet last year as
a first year club....we will be better this upcoming year. If you know of anyone that wants to be in our club let me
know....we need to recruit. I will be advertising horses to allow 4-H's to lease. I will let you know when the
January meeting will be. I also need volunteers to help with the overall fundraiser for the horse arena. We
have been assigned to work the flea market January 2nd at the fairgrounds.
